PureUnfiltered, rawlocal honey
Never heated. Never fine-filtered. Just honey the way the hive made it, bottled here in Gettysburg — so you taste the flowers, not the factory.
Why raw local honey
Most honey is processed for the shelf. Ours is left alone for you.
Never heated
Heat speeds up bottling but breaks down the enzymes bees add to honey. Ours is extracted, settled and strained — and that is all.

The pollen stays in
In one test of U.S. store honey, 76% of grocery-chain samples had no pollen left. Raw honey keeps it — the fingerprint of the local flowers.

Real honey, nothing added
46% of honey imported into the EU was suspected of being cut with sugar syrup. Buy from a beekeeper you can name and you never have to wonder.

Our story
Local honey from Gettysburg
Our honey comes from 255 Sachs Road in Gettysburg, in the heart of Adams County — Pennsylvania's biggest fruit-growing region. What the bees bring home goes into the bottle pure, unfiltered and raw, so every batch tastes of the place and the season it came from.

Raw honey, answered
What does raw honey actually mean?+
There is no federal legal definition, so we follow the National Honey Board's: honey as it exists in the hive, or as obtained by extraction, settling or straining without adding heat. Ours is never heated and never fine-filtered.
Why has my honey turned thick or cloudy?+
That is crystallization, and it is a sign of real raw honey, not spoilage. Stand the bottle in warm (not hot) water and swirl until it loosens. Skip the microwave.
Is raw honey good for a cough or sore throat?+
Research reviews, including a 2018 Cochrane review and a 2020 University of Oxford analysis, found honey can ease cough symptoms. It is a food, not a medicine, so see a doctor for anything that lingers.
Does local honey help with allergies?+
Honestly, the research does not show that it does. Most hay fever comes from wind-borne pollen that bees do not collect. We would rather you enjoy our honey for what it reliably is.
Can babies have honey?+
No. The CDC advises never giving honey of any kind to children under 12 months because of the risk of infant botulism.
How should I store raw honey?+
Tightly sealed at room temperature, away from the stove. The fridge makes it crystallize faster. Stored well, honey keeps for a very long time.
